Since being established in the 1920s, our plantations spread across the high ranges of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, have set benchmarks for quality and consistency.
For over 100 years, we have been a trusted supplier of superior tea to leading tea brands in India.
BRIAR tea plantations extend across the most exclusive South Indian plantation districts, from the Kannan Devan Hills in Kerala to the Nilgiri-Wayanad and Anamalai ranges in Tamil Nadu, neighbouring the Mudumalai and Indira Gandhi Wild Life Sanctuaries.
Briar’s tea estates span across 23,000 acres of plantation, producing 15.5 million kg of tea every year. The group gardens also produce coffee, cardamom and pepper.

Briar’s tea factories are integrated with our tea estates to ensure consistent and uncompromised production of tea. Our factories are equipped with state-of-the-art machinery to ensure uninterrupted production process. Right from withering, shredding, fermenting, drying, grinding, sifting and packaging – at each stage we employ cutting-edge technology to achieve a superlative tea experience. Our factories are located across the high ranges of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
